Injury Prevention

Also known as PREHAB, short for “preventative rehabilitation”, is the part of the rehab process that happens BEFORE you get hurt. Prehab is designed to help you build activity and sport-specific strength, flexibility, mobility, coordination, balance, technique, and endurance.

What this means is that Prehab programs look different for runners, athletes, swimmers, dancers, and weight lifters.

Prehab is supported by research to DECREASE the risk and severity of a potential injury and also IMPROVE the recovery if you do sustain an injury. The main side-effect of Prehab is getting stronger, faster, and improving balance!
